Wed Jun 03, 2015 10:47 pm
Russian television lies in the documentary film about the invasion of Warsaw Pact troops in Czechoslovakia in 1968. This was stated by Czech President Milos Zeman, said the publication Ceske Noviny.
He called it an invasion crime.
"It was not a mistake, it was a crime. I insist on this point of view. Russian TV also said that it was an attempt to prevent a military coup ", - said Zeman.
"Thus, Russian television is lying and no other comments except that this journalistic lie I can not provide," - said the president of the Czech Republic, which has repeatedly expressed approval of the Kremlin, and in the spirit of Russian propaganda talked about Ukraine.
Earlier, it was reported that the Czech Republic and Slovakia accused Russia of trying to rewrite history after the Russian television mockumentary "The Warsaw Pact. Declassified page."
