Dear Friends,
Please share this with all your friends and contacts...The world must not be silent and we must keep Ukraine in the minds of world leaders who seem to think it is alright to forget about Ukraine's self interest.

Here is the text!
In honour of World Peace Day, September 21, 2015, we the undersigned, call on Mr. Putin to end the war in Ukraine.
In the 20th century alone, tens of millions of Ukrainians died at the hands of two evil regimes—the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. In the 21st century, Ukraine is again losing lives at the hands of Vladimir Putin’s Russia.
In 1981, the United Nations established Peace Day to be held annually on the third Tuesday of September. In 2001, a resolution established September 21 as an annual day of non-violence and cease-fire.
In the spirit of this resolution, and in good faith, Ukraine gave up her entire nuclear arsenal, the third largest in the world. In exchange Ukraine was guaranteed territorial sovereignty by the signatories of the 1994 Budapest Memorandum—the UK, the US and Russia.
In 2006, again in good faith, Ukraine destroyed more than 15,000 tons of ammunition, 400,000 small arms and 1,000 anti-aircraft missiles.
Yet just last year, Ukraine’s good faith was violated.
In February of 2014, Russia deployed military personnel and equipment to annex part of Ukrainian sovereign territory, Crimea. Since then, Russian backed militants and regular army forces continually bombed civilians in Ukrainian sovereign territory, in breach of two cease-fire agreements, until September 1, 2015. An earlier threat of a nuclear attack issued by Russia has not yet been rescinded.
What better time than World Peace Day for citizens around the world to ask Mr. Putin to rescind it, and to end his military violence in Ukraine and observe a permanent cease-fire?
Please join us in calling for Mr. Putin to withdraw his military troops and equipment from Ukraine, make full reparations for the damage his troops and proxies have caused, and to dismantle Russia's nuclear and non-nuclear weapons of war.
