Russians Told to Aim at Berlin, Brussels and Washington

The weather in Kyiv has been pretty spectacular this week, and, if the streets weren't hosting men in uniform and the occasional young man crippled from the front, one could almost forget a war is going on about 400 miles away.

This week Russian forces intensified their aggression again. Oddly, although there is no war, yesterday, more men have been brutally killed and even more injured during this "peaceful" time. Hypocrisy in this regard is also reflected in calls to have the Minsk Agreement adhered to in the threat of "seriously violating the truce". As the international community gets ready to address the matters in the UN Security Council (a battered institution whose legal "double-veto" construct renders it pretty much inert and obsolete), one can hold out little hope that they will come to any agreement regarding helping Ukraine. This is because the Russian Federation is on the Security Council and the international community has not recognized it as an aggressor to the conflict in Ukraine. The situation reminds me of a line in an old The Doors song "loose obedience to a vegetable law".................
