Putin to go to America to hand out one billion in bribes, Russian expert says

on Mon Sep 07, 2015 10:35 am
Konstantin Borovoi, a Russian opposition politician and journalist, says Pres Putin’s goals when in America to attend the US assembly are to hand out a billion in bribes to prevent the formation of an international tribunal to investigate the MH17 downing over Donbas, a Sept. 6 article in The Apostrof runs.

“Each time Putin goes abroad for a big international forum foreign officials are bribed on a large scale. Now Putin will go there to stop the formation of an international tribunal. Putin will do his best to hand out promises and bribes to stop this process,” Borovoi writes.

Russia is no longer as rich as before but there are still some resources left, he says.

“Some countries will easily go for a compromise. That is why Russia will run a large-scale bribing campaign. Putin himself will take care of bribe-giving,” Borovoi writes.

“Unfortunately, Putin will implement his plan. There are many politicians for whom $10 mn will do the trick. I believe, there already exists a line to accept Putin’s handouts.

Putin’s aim is to corrupt assembly members. The price of it is one billion dollars. So far, Putin has the money,” Borovoi writes.
