Russia has reacted calmly to the news that the Swiss authorities have opened a criminal case against FIFA president Joseph Blatter. The opinion expressed on the situation honorary head of the Russian Football Union Vyacheslav Koloskov and Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko.

Mutko believes that the decision of the Swiss authorities - a logical development.

"This is normal and everything was predictable. When the two law enforcement agencies in Switzerland and America are working against a large organization, then, of course, we can assume that there will be an investigation," - said the Minister.

The head of the Russian sports also noted that a new corruption scandal in the FIFA his country in holding the 2018 World Cup is not threatened.

"Right now, no problem for Russia. The World Championship in Russia - a project of FIFA, he's got quite objectively based on the decision of the executive committee of FIFA. Charges that occur by FIFA, have no relation to the World Cup in Russia," - said Mutko.
