British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said that Syrian President Bashar Assad can remain the formal head of state to end the conflict, according to Reuters.
He said that Assad could be formally head of the SAR "Three days, three weeks or three years or even more." However, according to the Foreign Minister of Britain, it can not be part of the future of the country.
Hammond called "classic asymmetrical method of warfare" Russia's involvement in Syria, which has supported Assad and began to carry out air strikes on "Islamic state".
"It looks like a classic Russian asymmetrical method of warfare: You have a strong propaganda statement, which says that you are doing one thing, when in fact you are doing something completely different" - said the Minister.
According to him, "we just need Russia, which accepts that there are rules in the system."
"You can not act up like a child, throws toys out of the pram, and resort to military force whenever something goes your way," - said Hammond.
Earlier, British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said that Russia can not fight against militants of the terrorist group "Islamic State" in Syria and support of President Bashar al-Assad at the same time.
