In connection with the aggravation of relations with Russia because of the air incident, Turkey could reconsider the purchase of Russian gas, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It is reported by Rosbalt.
"Russia should be sensitive to these issues. We are the number one buyer of Russian natural gas. Losing Turkey will be a serious loss for Russia. If necessary, Turkey may buy natural gas in different places ", - said Erdogan reporters on the plane, going on a visit to Japan.
He noted that Turkey could reconsider the question of the construction of the nuclear power plant "Akkuyu" in the Russian project.
"If you do not build Russian NPP" Akkuyu ", someone else will come and build it", - said Erdogan.
Recall, the Russian military aircraft has repeatedly violated Turkish airspace.
