Tuesday, October 27 in Paris will host a meeting on Syria with the participation of 10 countries. This is stated in the statement of French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius.

The document specifically notes that "working dinner" will attend "the main partners involved with France in the settlement of the Syrian crisis: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Turkey, Germany, USA, Italy and the United Kingdom."

"They will discuss opportunities for the political transition that will lead to a united, democratic Syria that respects all communities, as well as strengthening our fight against terrorism" - said in a statement.

Western media pointed out that this meeting will participate mainly from the lower ranks. In particular, the United States will go to Paris first US Undersecretary of State Anthony Blinken, not Secretary of State John Kerry.

In turn, the United Kingdom stated that the participation of the British Foreign Minister Philip Hammond's "unlikely".
