US may expand sanctions against North Korea after the test bomb

Republican leaders of the House of Representatives of the US Congress to discuss the extension of sanctions against North Korea after the test of the hydrogen bomb, reports Reuters.
According to sources in the Congress, the corresponding voting could take place as early as next week. Sanctions should affect foreign companies working with Pyongyang.
Earlier it was reported that the UN Security Council begins work on a resolution in response to North Korea's nuclear test.
According to the head of the CTBT, the explosive power of the DPRK's nuclear test was lower than 2013 tests.
