Cameron and Merkel made progress in the negotiations on the reform of the EU

Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel following a call made significant progress in the negotiations on the reform of the EU, but still work to do. This was reported by the official representative of the British prime minister, reports Reuters.

"The parties were unanimous in their opinion that the December meeting of the European Council made progress, and indeed there is a desire in all EU countries to resolve the concerns of the British in all four areas," - he said.
