Swiss banks paid fines to US authorities on US $ 1.36 billion

Since March 2015 the financial authorities of the United States received from Swiss banks paid fines of $ 1.36 billion. These are the results of pre-trial agreements with 80 credit institutions, which in the US was accused of helping clients at tax evasion.

Some of the largest fines in the program had to pay Swiss banks UBS and Credit Suisse, which paid $ 780 million, respectively, and $ 2.5 billion.
