Approved a new format of the qualification of "Formula-1" from the first stage of the season 2016

The World Council of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) has approved a new format for World Cup qualifying in the class racing cars "Formula 1" from the beginning of the season 2016, the official website of the organization.

New rules for qualifying format will come into force on the first stage of the championship 2016, which will be held in Melbourne (March 18-20).

Under the new rules, the first segment will last 16 minutes. After seven minutes, the slowest rider finish the fight, then the worst rider will depart every 90 seconds, until they will be 15. The second segment will last 15 minutes. After 6 minutes, will be retiring the slowest pilot, and then every 1.5 minutes to complete the check-in will be another one. After the 2nd segment of the path will remain 8 pilots. The third segment will last 14 minutes, and riders will depart five minutes after it began. Top two pilots compete for pole position in the last 90 seconds.
