Amazing change in the weather. Still warm. +6 at 0700. But foggy! High of 7 or 8. ok.

Economy -
I notice that bond prices have risen in the past few days, and the hryvnia has also strengthened, presumably on news that Jareshko - the US born economist - may become PM. obviously people think she would be good for business. On the other hand, the Soviet brains in the Rada will be frightened, as will the oligarchs with their "protected" interests.

I presume this is from "reporter" Sarah Rainsford, Moscow resident. No name attacked, not surprisingly. She gives the Moscow position first in the report.
Only later on do you read about her kidnapping. Rainsford sits of the fence, to keep buddy with the Kremlin. Makes me puke.

The typical British reader will not realise that you could go to Russia as a tourist, spend 5 days looking at art in the Hermitage, and then be charged with spying and locked up for 60 years. That is Russia today.

AN-26 aircraft that crashed in Bangladesh was piloted by the Ukrainian crew.

This was stated by Urga Airline that owns the crashed plane, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

MP Viktor Chumak says about the possibility of an extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada on Saturday.

Moody’s is withdrawing from the Russian domestic market as global rating agencies are caught in a dilemma between new Russian laws and western sanctions.
