Russian President Vladimir Putin after threats "target missile" to "dangerous" for the territory of the Russian Federation said that his country strictly complies with the agreement on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
He stated this on June 18 in St. Petersburg at a meeting with IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano, said Tass.
The Russian leader reminded the head of an international organization that takes a considerable share of the Russian Federation in the field of uranium enrichment.
"In one of the most high-tech sectors - in enriching - we take a solid 40% of the market. You are well aware that we strictly adhere to all the issues related to non-proliferation", - Putin said.
"Russia is actively working with the IAEA. Our state corporation" Rosatom "has a very serious package of orders for the next 10 years and is one of the most active market participants", - Putin said. He stressed several times that the Russian Federation is working closely with the IAEA.

Now he's backtracking, most probably because he realized that calling the west's bluff no longer works. Also it ruins further his credibility.
