OPEC countries failed to agree on production limit

OPEC decided to keep its policy on oil

Members of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) summit in Vienna on Thursday, June 2, decided to maintain its policy of oil production, Reuters news agency quoted a source in one of the delegations.

According to the source, this means that the organization failed to agree on a new ceiling on the level of production.

The fact that OPEC failed to agree on production limit also reported Bloomberg, citing a member of one of the delegations to the talks.

The official representative of OPEC soon said that OPEC reaffirmed its commitment to market stability, Reuters transferred in your account in Twitter. OPEC representative also said that the participants of the meeting approved the inclusion of the OPEC African state of Gabon.

Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia Khalid al-Falih said the OPEC meeting went well.

The next OPEC meeting will be held on 30 November.
