"Tariff maidan" in Armenia: A Chronicle of the protests (PHOTOS &VIDEO)

Launched on Monday, June 22 "tariff maidan" in Yerevan, Armenia, has not ended even after the security forces started to sweep power protest. At first, the police used water cannons, and then went to storm the local law enforcement officers in uniform.

About hospitalization of eight civilians had been received signals from medical institutions. There have also been received signals about seeking medical care 14 police officers injured. As reported by the "Observer", protests at the residence of the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan started on June 22 when Baghramian Avenue was held to protest against the increase in electricity tariffs. The event was attended by about three thousand people.
