More than half of Russians (63%) admitted that the past three months they had to adjust their habits associated with buying food.

Reported Fund "Public opinion", informs Rosbalt.

In particular, they have to buy food cheaper brands (40%), abandoned some products or generally reduced volume of purchased products (30%). In addition, 13% are less likely to go grocery shopping.

According to 50% of respondents in the past six months they have to save on food more than before, 4% - less. Meanwhile, 35% of Russians in this respect nothing has changed, and 8% said they did not skimp on food.

First, "laid off" were meat and poultry (29%), cheese and sausage (23%), fish and seafood (21%) and fruit (19%) and confectionery (17%). One in ten began to save on juice, water and carbonated beverages (11%) and vegetables (10%). Another 8% of Russians have more to save on all foods.

Together with the Russians over the past six months started to save more than before on non-food items and services (50%). Nothing in this regard has not changed in 35% and 3%, by contrast, have less to save on non-food goods and services.

First of all, the Russians saving on clothes and shoes (27%), entertainment and leisure (17%), perfumery and cosmetic goods and services of cafes and restaurants (16%), travel services and travel (14%). For 11% cut spending on electronics and appliances, as well as domestic services (hairdresser, dry cleaning, tailors, etc.).
