Oh well, I guess I'm just getting to the age when things like this are starting to happen more often.

Rest In Peace.

Never saw them, but I've seen them in TV concerts. They were awesome.

With the living habits they all had, I'm surprised many of them are still around. Look at the Stones. Mick and the band still doing concerts. Totally amazing. Perhaps maybe all the drugs we did back in the days actually help us live longer. afro

Died bass player and founder of «Yes»

Post by Admin on Sun Jun 28, 2015 9:01 pm

The bass player and one of the founders of the British group «Yes» Chris Squire died in the US at the age of 67 years, told his bandmates.

"I feel perfect devastation for which no words, being forced to announce the sad news about the care of my dear friend, bandmate and inspiration Chris Squire" - tweeted Yes keyboardist Geoffrey Downes.

The musician died in Phoenix, Arizona. In May this year, he said that he was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia.

Group Yes, playing in the genre of "progressive rock", was founded in London in 1968.
