States New York and Washington promise to condemn US President Donald Trump if he refuses to protect the deportation of immigrants who arrived in the United States by children.
Governor New York Andrew Cuomo wrote about it on Twitter.
"We will not stand alone and watch how 42,000 people are deported from New York. If the president cancels the DACA, we will file a lawsuit against him, "he said.
According to Reuters, it is expected that the Trump administration will announce Tuesday about the cessation of the deportation protection program, but will give the US Congress 6 months to develop a similar project.
Cuomo, in a joint statement with State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, said that "the actions of Trump will turn over the lives of hundreds of thousands of young people who called America their home."
Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson has also threatened lawsuits against the White House administration.
Recall that in January, US President Donald Trump issued a decree prohibiting the entry of citizens from 7 Muslim countries in Africa and the Middle East to the United States.
The US Court of Appeal upheld the prohibition of Tramp's Anti - Migration Ordinance.
