The International Committee to Protect Journalists condemned Putin's decree on state secrets

The Committee to Protect Journalists, headquartered in New York condemned the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin's Russia on state secrets on military casualties in peacetime.

"We call on President Vladimir Putin to stop creating" smoke screens "and allow the media to do their job, which consists to inform people in Russia, Ukraine and in the world of real events in the region", - said in a statement on the website of the Committee.

Earlier it was reported that Putin's decree on state secrets challenged in the Supreme Court.
