on Wed Oct 18, 2017 10:44 am
Turkish authorities believe that talks with the US on the resumption of extradition between countries of nonimmigrant visas are in the right direction.

This was announced by the spokeswoman of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Ibrahim Kalin, reports Reuters.

He noted that the negotiations between Turkey and the United States in the ongoing visa crisis are in a "good direction."

At the same time, another week Erdogan himself argued that the US hid in her consulate in Istanbul a man who was involved with the attempt of the state coup in Turkey in 2016.

On the eve of the US embassy in Ankara, it has suspended the work of nonimmigrant visa issuance services due to the arrest in Istanbul of a US Consulate official. The Embassy of Turkey soon took the same measures .
Subsequently, the authorities of Turkey issued a warrant for the arrest of an employee of the US Consulate.
