The Russian Foreign Ministry clarifies the circumstances of the arrest of Russians in the Czech Republic

The Russian embassy in Prague finds circumstances of the detention of a Russian citizen in the Czech Republic on charges of assault on the house of the Czech defense minister. It is reported by "TASS" with reference to the representative of the Department of Information and Press of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"The Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic has received an official notification from the Czech police on the detention of living in the Czech Republic, a Russian citizen born in 1995, who was elected as a preventive measure - detention. From the report of administrative bodies does not follow any specific accusation presented to him. It gives only a reference to the provision of the law allowing for the detention of suspects without opening it in the prosecution, "- noted in the department.

The Russian embassy is in contact with the Czech authorities in order to clarify all the circumstances of the detention.
