Georgia wants Russia to 70.32 million euros in compensation for moral damage to Georgian citizens during their mass deportation from Russia in 2006.

This is stated in a statement the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, reports Georgia Online

It is also noted that the Ministry of Justice of Georgia has addressed 3 September 2014 to the ECHR and asked for help as a mediator in negotiations with the Russian Federation in the courthouse.

In response, the Georgian government was informed that the Court of connection to the negotiation process would be useful later, after the parties submit to the Court the position of Compensation.

The Ministry of Justice of Georgia has not received any documentation from the Russian positions or bypassing Strasbourg suda.S view of this, according to the instruction of the European Court and the inability to negotiate with the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Justice of Georgia presented to the Strasbourg court written observations concerning compensation.

For experienced moral damage Georgia demands the Russian authorities 70,320,000 euros. This amount is based on the case law of the Strasbourg Court in such cases.

"On this occasion the Strasbourg Court will discuss and determine the next steps of the procedure and for the parties. Through the Strasbourg Court of Georgia to get Russia's position and that it should have been submitted to the court in a 12-month period, "- said in a statement the Ministry of Justice.
