Women's Hitler Youth: The network shocked photos from Russia

The network is shocked by photos of the women's unit in Russia, which resembles the youth organization Hitlerjugend, which existed during the Third Reich.

The corresponding snapshot was published by a user named gloomygnome on his page in Instagram.

"Rings and bandages," says the photo's signature.

The picture depicts a women's unit in Russia, which in its appearance is very similar to a paramilitary organization in the days of Hitler. On the girls' heads there are pilots, and on the sleeves there are bandages on which there are inscriptions remotely reminiscent of Hitler's swastika.

"Is this a women's division of the Hitler Youth?" - commented on seen users.

As reported by "Apostrophe", the network was previously shocked by photos from Russia's Samara, where obsolete homes before the 2018 World Cup decided to hide behind colorful banners.

In Russia, the machine was shot down by the creator of the poison, which poisoned the Violinist

In Russia, the machine was shot down by the creator of the poison, which poisoned the Violinist

The Russian chemist Volodymyr Ugliev, who worked on the creation of the nerve-paralytic substance "Novachok", which was attempted to kill the ex-spy GRU Sergei Skrypka and his daughter Julia, was shot down by a car in Russian Anapa.

This was told by a journalist Natalia Gevorgyan with reference to a letter from the wife of the victim.

"I received a letter from my wife, a chemist Volodymyr Ugliev, one of the founders of Novachka who gave us with Svetlana Reiter the first interview, and then to many others, she writes that he was shot down by a car and he was in the hospital," the journalist wrote. " She spoke with Ugliev. Says calm and clever. She feels decent."

Later, Ugliev himself told the journalists The Bell , passing the road on a pedestrian crossing next to his house, when he saw that the car rides on him and does not reduce speed. The chemist ran and was almost on the sidewalk, when the car still "caught up" with him.

To minimize damage, Ugliev jumped on the bonnet and shook his head with the car's windshield. At present, the condition of the victim is estimated as satisfactory, - hematomas were diagnosed on the arms and legs and the head was slaughtered. Expected results of tomography of the head.

Riding a 70-year-old local resident who stayed at the scene of the accident and offered Ugljev money. According to the chemist, the incident was not planned.

It is worth noting that Ugliev had given an interview earlier, where he told how in the USSR production of nerve-paralytic substances of the class "Newborn" was carried out, from which there are no antidotes.

Putin's supporter, the German MP Maurer, who illegally visited Crimea, is suspected of falsifying elections

on Wed Apr 25, 2018 12:16 pm
Putin's supporter, the German MP Maurer, who illegally visited Crimea, is suspected of falsifying elections

The German left-wing deputy Andreas Maurer, who illegally visited the occupied Crimea, photographed with Putin and Medvedev and tried to push through the local city council of the German city of Quakenbruck to recognize the annexation of the Crimea, suspected of falsifying elections.
According to Censor.NET, the  author of the international community of investigators InformNapalm, blogger Anton Pavlushko writes about this on his Facebook page.

"I found a great story in the German province. Remember, the deputy from the Left party, Andreas Maurer, Die Linke, left for Crimea.

I wrote about this "politics" of the city council of the city of Kvankenbruck (12,000 inhabitants). Then Maurer, a native of Kazakhstan, photographed in Crimea with all Russian politicians.

Separately, we need to mention his photos with Putin. Well, you understand, if politicians from Kukenbryuk came to the Crimea, soon and the sanctions will be lifted.

Maurer was dragged on all the Russian channels, as ever Angela Davis knew every student of the USSR.

He then returned to his native Quakenbruck and even tried to push through the local council of recognition of the annexation of the Crimea (shtoa??), but not destined Smile. But Maurer may soon cease to be a deputy in a particularly perverted form. Today, Osnabrück District Court has started a hearing on the falsification of elections to the Quakenbruck City Council. Deputies from the faction of the left are accused of falsifying the results of the elections to the city council, which took place at the end of 2016. Then 75% of all left votes were scored by mail voting. In total, Maurer and Co received 60% of all votes cast by mail. This result has aroused surprise at local politicians, because it is not even East Germany, but the outskirts of Osnabruck. In total, 2,632 out of 3545 votes received the left-wing party through postal voting. The overall result is 21.6%. We began to understand and it turned out that there may have been falsifications of the results. They made reelections, after which the left faction lost voices - 16.5%. The case was taken to court. Mauerer and four more deputies of his faction (mostly of foreign origin) are accused. Everything was going on - from filling out election letters to falsifying documents and voting for sick people with Alzheimer", - says Pavlushko.

According to him, lawyers Maurer and Co. are trying to transfer a case from a district court, which can give up to five years in prison, to a court of another instance, which can give a maximum of 2 years in prison.

"There is something to compare: in January, they already condemned Galina Krieger (born in Omsk), who tried to recruit as a candidate from the Free Democrats (FDP) and also falsified election results (five cases were brought - 8 months suspended and 4,000 euros fine). For Maurer and Co, the case may end up much worse, because there is a lot more scope. Even in Quakenbrucka elections are not your election of the Russian president, but on the whole a very instructive story and one can immediately see who fights behind Putin in Germany, "says Pavlushko.

US senators demanded from several of the world's largest banks to disclose their ties with the "Kremlin list"

US senators demanded from several of the world's largest banks to disclose their ties with the "Kremlin list"

Senators in the United States urge many of the world's largest financial institutions to disclose any links between their companies and the rich Russians associated with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As informs Tsensor.NET with reference to UNIAN, Reuters reports.

Senator Democrats Jean Shekhain and Sheldon Whitehouse became the authors of the inquiries.

Letters were sent to three major American banks - Bank of America Corp., JPMorgan Chase and Citibank - as well as European Barclays, Deutsche Bank, UBS, HSBC and Credit Suisse. Officials are requesting reports on accounts controlled by the "Kremlin List" contributors over the past five years.

If banks do not provide information, the senators threaten to take rigorous measures against them, up to a government investigation.

As reported, on April 6, the US Treasury Department announced that following consultations with the State Department, the US administration imposed sanctions on seven Russian businessmen, 12 companies, 17 government officials of the Russian Federation, and against a Russian arms trade company and related bank.

Russian defender of Ukrainian political prisoners stripped of lawyer license "over tweets"

Russian defender of Ukrainian political prisoners stripped of lawyer license "over tweets"

Mark Feygin, the Russian lawyer of a Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko whom the FSB accused of espionage, has been deprived of his official license in Russia.

As reported by Censor.NET citing UNIAN, Feygin says the move is a result of "three tweets" he posted earlier.

Reporting on the ban, also via Twitter, Feygin did not elaborate on the exact postings that triggered action on the part of the authorities. In another tweet, Feygin shamed the Russian Bar Association which he says "bowed before the Kremlin."

He is currently defending Ukrinform correspondent Roman Sushchenko. The next court hearing in the Sushchenko case will be held at the Moscow City Court on April 25. Feygin called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to facilitate the exchange of his client, Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko, who is being tried in Moscow on trumped-up espionage charges. The lawyer is also famous for defending Ukrainian political prisoners Nadia Savchenko, Mustafa Dzhemilev, and Ilmi Umerov.

Feygin told UNIAN that the "political" case itself, the ongoing trial and everything related is the result of strained relations between the two countries. At the same time, the lawyer noted that he did not lose hope for a "humanitarian decision" in the Sushchenko case, as happened with his other client, Ilmi Umerov of Crimea. Revocation of Feygin's license poses a challenge to Sushchenko's defense. As the prosecution has completed presenting their evidence in the Suschenko case, the defense team is now set to show its written evidence and pleas on May 25.

He announced this on his Facebook page.

"Incredible news just from New York! We won the Peabody Awards! Taken and won! Congratulations to all involved,"- wrote Roman in social network.

Ukrainian journalist and producer Roman Stepanovich was nominated for the prestigious American Peabody Awards for a series of "Inside Putin's Russia" reports for PBS NewsHour, along with Nick Shifrin and Zack Fanin.

The series "Inside Putin's Russia" reveals the roots of today's Russia - why President Vladimir Putin remains popular, why the country works in the way it works, how its propaganda works, and the conflict with the United States, "said the website of the prize.

In early April, the Council of Peabody Prize Counselors selected 60 nominees from 1200 applicants.

Among the nominees, the international television company Al Jazeera received a prize for the documentary film on female circumcision in Africa.

PACE recognizes Ukraine's Donbas being occupied by Russia

on Wed Apr 25, 2018 12:39 pm
PACE recognizes Ukraine's Donbas being occupied by Russia

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has adopted a decision recognizing Russia's occupation of Ukraine's territories.

"Russia is an occupier! The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has adopted a decision recognizing certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions occupied by the Russian Federation. This is the victory of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE, which in the long term will increase Russia's responsibility for violating the norms of international law," PACE Vice President Volodymyr Ariev wrote on Facebook on Tuesday, April 24, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

He also said PACE had taken into account the amendment of the Ukrainian delegation in the report "State of emergency: proportionality issues concerning derogations under Article 15 of the European Convention on Human Rights."

"It's a victory! An important amendment proposed by the Ukrainian delegation to PACE was adopted in the report 'State of emergency: proportionality issues concerning derogations under Article 15 of the European Convention on Human Rights,' and the Assembly voted to recognize the occupation by Russia of part of Donbas! Fairy tales about coal miners, tractor drivers and post exchanges are no longer part of international documents," Ariev added.

As reported by Interfax-Ukraine, representative of the Ukrainian delegation to the PACE Oleksii Honcharenko said on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel: "The Parliamentary Assembly has just supported the amendment by the Ukrainian delegation... to change the wording when describing the situation in the uncontrolled and occupied territory of Donbas – to replace the words non-government controlled territories' with the words territories under effective control by the Russian Federation'."

On April 23, Ariev said PACE had refused Ukraine's request to hold an urgent debate over the illegal election of the Russian president in occupied Crimea and other aspects of Russian policy.

G7 members ready to take further restrictive measures should Russia’s actions so require

on Wed Apr 25, 2018 12:43 pm
G7 members ready to take further restrictive measures should Russia’s actions so require

G7 member countries may consider stiffening sanctions against the Russian Federation over its violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty.

"We reiterate our enduring support for Ukrainian sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders. This includes our non-recognition of Russia’s violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity," G7 foreign ministers said in a joint communique on April 23, Censor.NET reports.

"We decry the degraded human rights situation in the peninsula, and the violations and abuses committed against its population by Russia in Crimea. We fully support the efforts within the Normandy format and of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe for a solution to the conflict in eastern Ukraine. We are convinced that the only way a sustainable solution to the conflict can be reached is through the full implementation of the Minsk agreements. Given Russia’s responsibility in the conflict, we urge Russia to stabilize the security situation in the Donbas without delay. We recall that the duration of Donbas-related economic sanctions is clearly linked to Russia’s complete and irreversible implementation of the Minsk Agreements. These sanctions can be rolled back only if Russia truly fulfills its commitments, but we also stand ready to take further restrictive measures should Russia’s actions so require," the ministers stressed.

"We are committed to protecting and promoting the rules-based international system. This stands against the background of a pattern of irresponsible and destabilizing Russian behaviour, including interference in countries’ democratic systems. We call on Russia to cease this behaviour, which is highly detrimental to prospects for constructive cooperation. We urge Russia to live up to its international obligations, as well as its responsibilities as a permanent member of the UN Security Council (UNSC), to uphold international peace and security. Notwithstanding, we will continue to engage with Russia on addressing regional crises and global challenges. We will continue to bolster our capabilities to address hybrid threats, including in the areas of cybersecurity, strategic communications and counter-intelligence. We welcome national action taken to constrain Russian hostile-intelligence activity and to enhance our collective security. We will remain closely focused on this issue and its implications in anticipation of our Leaders’ Summit," the statement reads.

"We are appalled by the re-emergence of chemical weapons use in the Middle East, Asia and now Europe. Noting the G7 leaders’ statement of April 16, we are united in condemning, in the strongest possible terms, the use of chemical weapons in the April 7 attack in Eastern Ghouta, Syria. We fully support all efforts made by the United States, the United Kingdom and France to alleviate the extreme suffering of the Syrian people by degrading the Assad regime’s ability to use chemical weapons and to deter any future use, as demonstrated by their action taken on April 13. This response was limited, proportionate and necessary—and taken only after exhausting every possible diplomatic option to uphold the international norm against the use of chemical weapons. We condemn the repeated and morally reprehensible use of chemical weapons in Syria by the Syrian regime and by Daesh, as confirmed by successive reports of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW-UN) Joint Investigative Mechanism (JIM). We condemn this deliberate strategy of terrorizing local populations and forcing them into submission. We regret that Russia has vetoed the renewal of the mandate of the JIM and also vetoed the recent UNSC draft resolution, which aimed to establish an independent investigative mechanism for the use of chemical weapons in Syria," FMs said.

"We reiterate our joint statement of April 16 on the Salisbury attack. We are united in condemning, in the strongest possible terms, the attack that took place in Salisbury, United Kingdom (U.K.), on March 4, 2018. This use of a military-grade nerve agent, of a type developed by Russia, constitutes the first offensive use of a nerve agent in Europe since the Second World War and is a grave challenge not only to the security of the U.K. but also to our shared security. It is an assault on U.K. sovereignty. Any use of chemical weapons by a state party under any circumstances is a clear breach of international law and a violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention. The OPCW has now independently confirmed the U.K.’s findings relating to the identity of the toxic chemical that was used in Salisbury. We share, and agree with, the U.K.’s assessment that it is highly likely that the Russian Federation was responsible for the attack, and that there is no plausible alternative explanation. We call on Russia to urgently address all questions related to the incident in Salisbury. Russia should provide full and complete disclosure of its previously undeclared Novichok program to the OPCW in line with its international obligations. We call on Russia to live up to its Chemical Weapons Convention obligations, as well as its responsibilities as a permanent member of the UNSC to uphold international peace and security," G7 foreign ministers said.
