In the rubble of London found the relics of the Pope. They are about 2 thousand years old
In a garbage collection in the center of London, a small leather case containing a fragment of the bone, which is believed to be the relic of Saint Clement, was found.
This is written by The Guardian.
Clement I was the third Pope, after the saints Peter and Lina, and was killed almost 2 thousand years ago. The box, initially sealed with red wax and tied with raspberry cords, contained a fragment of the bone under a glass dome with a strip of paper, denoting her "Oss. S Clementis" - the bone of St. Clement.
Saint Clement is a pretty blurred figure, and the details of his life are vague and contradictory. According to historians, he was killed in about 100 BC by the Roman emperor Trajan, being tied to an anchor and thrown in the sea off the coast of Crimea: his fate made him the patron sailing of the sailors.
The find was in the hands of the company Enviro Waste, which collects both commercial and domestic waste. The relics were noticed when employees sorted the cargo to separate everything that could be recycled.
At the moment, the company has created a poll in its blog, where people can suggest where the "revenge" should go next.
James Rubin, the owner and executive director of the company, described the discovery as "an important part of the story" that deserves the appropriate home.
"You can imagine our amazement when we realized that our cleaning teams found the bone belonging to the Pope - this is not something you expect to see, even in our work, but we often encounter some strange and wonderful things," - he said.
