Oil prices have risen to a peak in the past three years since the US-backed nuclear deal with Iran

on Wed May 09, 2018 12:25 pm
World oil prices have renewed the record since 2015, after the announcement by the US president of the country's withdrawal from nuclear agreements with Iran and the imposition of sanctions.

This was reported by Bloomberg.

Thus, the Brent crude oil exceeded $ 76 per barrel and increased by 2.5% due to fears of investors due to a ban on oil trade from one of its largest exporters.

As the US emerged from nuclear agreements, they renewed sanctions, which at one time were removed for Obama's presidency in exchange for a reduction of Iran's nuclear program.

As Bloomberg notes, starting May 8 , US companies are banned from entering into new oil supplies from Iran.

By August 2018, all operations with Iranian government securities, as well as precious metals manufactured in this country , should be stopped.

In November 2018, any agreements on energy supplies, interactions with Iranian ports and insurance services are prohibited.

In addition, the US withdrawal from nuclear agreements with Iran will cost the world's two largest aircraft manufacturers about $ 40 billion .

On May 8, US President Donald Trump said the United States would withdraw from an agreement on Iran's nuclear program and reinstate sanctions against Iran.

Iran called the US withdrawal from the nuclear program "illegal".

The EU is concerned about the release of the United States on the nuclear deal and the announcement of new sanctions against Iran.

Also, the "deep concern" of the dissolution of US nuclear agreements was expressed by the United Nations.

In 2015, Iran entered into an agreement with the US and the leading countries to refuse to develop nuclear weapons in exchange for lifting some economic sanctions, including the ban on international oil trade.

The governments of the leading European countries consider the agreement with Iran an important condition for international security.

At the same time, a number of countries, in particular the current US and Israeli administration, express fears that the agreement does not provide firm guarantees for Iran's refusal to develop nuclear weapons.
