The Russian government-sponsored Russia 1 TV channel released CCTV footage of bomb attack which claimed life of Alexander Zakharchenko, the leader of the self-styled "Donetsk People’s Republic."

As reported by Censor.NET, Terrorists’ leader Zakharchenko was killed in a blast in Donetsk-based cafe on Aug. 31. So called "finance minister" of the self-proclaimed republic, Alexander Timofeev aka Tashkent, was also severely wounded in explosion.




Ukraine’s Security Service said Zakharchenko was killed as a result of either a power struggle among the terrorists or was eliminated by the Russian secret services.

The Russian Foreign Ministry, as is customary, said that it were the warmongers from among the Ukrainian authorities who were behind Zakharchenko’s assassination.

The net inflow of foreign direct investment into the Ukrainian economy in August 2018 increased by $34 million compared to July and amounted to $176 million.

Hierarchs on Sept. 2 held meetings (Synaxis) of the Hierarchy of the Ecumenical Throne Constantinople (Istanbul, Turkey) to confirm that the Church of Constantinople is authorized, without the consent of other churches, to grant autonomy, or autocephaly, to a church that has requested it. In case if the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs fails to recall its consul from the village of Berehove (the Zakarpattia region), the Ukrainian government is going to suggest him leave the country.

"Ukraine’s position has always been consistent and clear. The Ukrainian government was the one that offered its Hungarian counterparts to recall Berehove-based consul in connection with the violation of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations and Ukrainian laws. If they fail to recall [the consul], we are going to make a decision on our own that he must leave the territory Ukraine and stop its activities in Ukraine," spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Mariana Betsa Monday told Interfax-Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.

Ukrainian media earlier reported about the issuance of Hungarian passports to Ukrainian citizens at the Hungarian consulate in the town of Berehove in Ukraine's Zakarpattia region. A video was posted showing Ukrainians getting Hungarian passports and taking an oath calling Hungary their homeland.

The Verkhovna Rada should develop a law on the protection of state information security.

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy announced this at a briefing after the conciliation council, according to the parliamentary correspondent of Censor.NET.

"I consider it very important to involve reputable international partners in the management of the Ukrainian GTS. Recently, during my official visit to the United States, I had talks with the most powerful US energy companies in order to become part of the Ukrainian GTS management. I believe this is one of the key decisions that affect not only energy, but also all spheres of security in Ukraine, since joint management of the GTS will allow Ukraine to get strong strong investments", - said Parubiy.

According to Parubiy, this issue is related to the North Stream 2 project, given that the United States is one of the most critical critics of this project.

"I am convinced that when powerful US energy companies are our partners in the management of the GTS, this will make our strategic partners even more consistent and rigorous," he said.

According to the speaker, the entry of such partners in the management of the GTS will further make it impossible for any implementation of Putin's plans to manage the Ukrainian GTS.
