Boris Nemtsov's Daughter Receives $1.1 Million Rights Prize From Poland

The 31-year-old Zhanna Nemtsova received the Lech Walesa Solidarity Prize at an August 4 ceremony in Warsaw from Poland’s President Bronislaw Komorowski and from the chairman of the prize committee, former President Lech Walesa.

The eldest daughter of Russia’s slain opposition politician Boris Nemtsov has received a $1.1 million prize in Poland for championing democracy and human rights.
The 31-year-old Zhanna Nemtsova received the Lech Walesa Solidarity Prize at an August 4 ceremony in Warsaw from Poland’s President Bronislaw Komorowski and from the chairman of the prize committee, former President Lech Walesa.
The Solidarity Prize was established by Poland’s Foreign Ministry.
Nemtsova has left Russia since her father was shot dead on February 27 near the Kremlin by an unknown assassin......................
