Destruction of products Russia resembles the Soviet Union and the Holodomor in Ukraine.
This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture Marek Sawicki during a press conference on August 7 tells Polish Radio .

He called on Putin to stop consuming foods sanctions.
"I want to appeal to President Putin that he did not go in the footsteps of their predecessors of the Soviet Union, I mean the 30-ies., That he did not destroy the products that Russian businessmen could hardly buy in different markets of Europe and the world" - said he.

The Minister also reminded that it is considered a sin.

"The Russians are now in need of these products, and in our food destroy the Slavic tradition, the destruction of bread is considered a heavy sin. Mr Putin should not do this. This is reminiscent of the famine in Ukraine and elsewhere in the USSR in the 30s." - Said Sawicki.
