In Belgium, detained six suspects in the preparation of the terrorist attack on New Year's Eve, said on Thursday, December 31, Reuters.
The suspects were detained during searches of houses in Brussels.
Earlier, on 29 December in Belgium arrested two people suspected of planning attacks on Brussels on the eve of the New Year. December 31 arrest was extended for a month. They were both members of the biker group "Riders kamikaze", which consists of people from North Africa.
In late December because of the threat of terrorist attacks in Brussels canceled public celebrations, as well as the launch of banned fireworks.
The Agency recalls that, in Belgium, a third level of terrorist threat (probability of possible terrorist attacks). He was inducted in the country after the terrorist attacks on Paris, which killed 130 people.
