Iran is convinced that new US sanctions are a violation of the nuclear deal

Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi said that he said that the United States is trying to get out of a nuclear deal, transferring Tehran to all responsibility for breaking the agreement on a nuclear program, reports Mehr .

"Trump and the United States as a whole are trying to get out of a nuclear deal, shifting all responsibility for the disruption to Iran," he said. According to him, the new bill imposes sanctions on Iran under the pretext of human rights, terrorism, a missile program and any excuses that are not related to nuclear weapons. Sanctions are also an attempt to scare individuals from doing business with Iran.

"US sanctions are a violation of the nuclear deal, as they undermine the principle of" goodwill, "included in the multilateral agreement," said the deputy minister. The Deputy Minister announced that Iran would prepare countermeasures in response to US sanctions, adding that the answer would be "calculated" and "well thought out" and would not allow Washington to push Tehran to a violation of the deal.

Recall, the US Treasury Department has imposed new sanctions against Iran in response to the development of its missile program.
