The relatives of the dead during the filming of the pilots filed a lawsuit against Hollywood actor Tom Cruise and director Doug Lyman.
According to the journal Roper, Cruz and Lyman are said to be partly guilty of the death of pilots on the shooting site of the "Made in America" tape in 2015.
Relatives of the victims assure that Cruise and the crew tried to keep dangerous and tricky pilots to save time and money.
As a result, a two-engined airplane crashed into the mountains of Columbia, two pilots - Alan Purwin and Carlos Berl - died, the third - Jimmy Lee Garland - lost the opportunity to walk.
According to court materials, a few weeks before the tragedy, Purwin complained to the executive producer that it was "the most dangerous project in which he never worked."
Universal Pictures and Cruz do not comment on the situation.
