The US has crucified the Kremlin boys in oligarchic panties: Putin has foretold difficult times in Russia

The US has crucified the Kremlin boys in oligarchic panties: Putin has foretold difficult times in Russia

The sanctions imposed by the US Treasury Department on April 6 against the 24 oligarchs close to Russian President Vladimir Putin are the beginning of a difficult time for the Kremlin.

This Russian political scientist and publicist Andrew Piontkovsky told in an interview with "Apostrophe".

"When loans and technology are limited, this is, of course, painful, but it will affect the economy in a few years, and at the top there will not be any effect at all. And then it was just for the top and they finally came to America, and as a result, the first 24 Kremlin boys in oligarchic panties were crucified on the website of the Ministry of Finance, their assets are frozen and the next step is the confiscation", - said the political scientist.

According to him, this is just the beginning of a process to which such well-known Russian oppositionists as the deceased Boris Nemtsov and Alexei Bulky called on the United States: "You do not have to interfere in Russian affairs, interfere with your own. You have laws to combat money laundering criminal way".

Thus, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research, NBER, one trillion dollars of private Russian assets are kept in the US.

"They were, of course, trafficked. Where else could the astronomical figure in a trillion dollars be taken? These are money stolen from the Russian people." The implementation of US law to combat money laundering is the most painful blow to Putin's kleptocracy, "Piontkovsky said.

"So the Kremlin does not have anything special to celebrate, hard times come to him," summed up the political scientist.

Russia has been told how Putin can seriously affect the outcome of the elections in Ukraine

Russia has been told how Putin can seriously affect the outcome of the elections in Ukraine

The Kremlin can thoroughly influence the results of upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections in Ukraine through polling stations in the territory of the Russian Federation and in the occupied territories.

This was stated in an interview with "Apostrophe" by Russian political scientist and publicist Andriy Piontkovsky.

"How can Putin Judoheriya intervene? They organize polling stations in Russia, where several million Ukrainians live, organize voting in Lugansk (in the occupied regions of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts - "Apostrophe"), in the Crimea, will use the fifth a column for the whole territory of Ukraine, because, according to public opinion polls, they vote for the so-called "Opposition bloc", for people like Medvedchuk. Some people support them, let it be only 10 percent. There is a reason for the Kremlin to push for it, intensifying it by so-called voting in Russia and in the occupied territories of Ukraine", - he explains.

In this context, the political scientist notes that there is a war and therefore there should be no polling stations in the occupied territories and in the territory of the aggressor country.

"It seems to me that in the wake of the war, it would be very strange for the CEC to organize polling stations in the territory of the Russian Federation," "Lugandonia" and the Crimea, because there will be a monumental falsification by the Russian authorities, "he concludes.

In Russia, they are offering to punish for the support and compliance with anti-Russian sanctions

A draft law introducing criminal liability for actions contributing to the imposition of sanctions against Russia, as well as for compliance with these sanctions, has been introduced to the State Duma for consideration.

As informs Censor.NET with reference to "Medusa", the document April 14 is placed in the database of the lower house of parliament. Among the authors of the bill are the leaders of all four Duma factions.

The document proposes to introduce a new article in the Criminal Code - "Restrictions or refusal to perform ordinary business transactions or agreements to facilitate the implementation of restrictive measures imposed by a foreign state, a union of foreign states or an international organization." Penalties under this article are proposed to be imposed in the form of a fine of up to 600 non-taxable minimum incomes, or restraint of liberty for up to four years.

It also provides for punishing citizens for "intentional actions that led or could lead to the imposition of sanctions" with a fine of up to 500 non-taxable minimum incomes, or imprisonment for up to three years with a fine of 200 thousand rubles.

The draft law, as the Russian newspaper wrote , received positive conclusions from the government and the Supreme Court.

It is noted that plans to introduce criminal responsibility for those who follow the sanctions imposed on Russia or facilitate their introduction were first announced in April shortly after the United States expanded the list of sanctions by including several Russian businessmen, including Oleg Deripaska and Victor Vekselberg.

Special Representative of the US State Department Volker extended and extended the mandate - Myroslava Gongadze

on Mon May 14, 2018 10:56 am
Special Representative of the US State Department Volker extended and extended the mandate - Myroslava Gongadze

The Special Representative of the United States Department of State for Affairs of Ukraine, Kurt Volker, extended and even extended the mandate.

As informs Censor.NET, Myroslav Gongadze, the head of the Ukrainian Voice of America, told about the program "Tomorrow", a joint project of Radio Liberty and the "112 Ukraine" TV channel.

"According to sources, Kurt Volker has extended and expanded the mandate, he will have not only powers over the situation in the Donbass, he will have broad powers over Ukraine as such," she said.

Earlier, the Special Representative of the US Department of State for Affairs of Ukraine, Kurt Volker, worked on a voluntary basis.

May 14 Volker intends to visit Kiev, and later Donbas.

"I'm going east of Ukraine next week to learn more about the situation on the ground and about the humanitarian crisis in the Donbas," Volker said on the eve of Twitter.

Earlier in the interview to "Present Time," Kurt Volker admitted that the situation with the Donbass was in a dead end, so it is necessary to give her "the highest strategic level: to promote US involvement, to promote the involvement of Germany and France as partners in the" Norman process."

"If we come to an agreement on two principles: the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the security of all people, then I think we will be able to make progress," Volker said.

The armed conflict in the Donbas continues from 2014 after the Russian annexation of the Crimea. Ukraine and the West accuse Russia of armed support for separatists. The Kremlin dismisses these allegations and states that there are only Russian "volunteers" in the Donbass. According to the UN, during the conflict in the region more than 10 thousand people died.

MI5 chief: Skripals' poisoning to make Russia "more isolated pariah” in international community

MI5 chief: Skripals' poisoning to make Russia "more isolated pariah” in international community

Chief of the United Kingdom's domestic counter-intelligence and security agency Andrew Parker will warn of the continued threat of attacks on Britain from the so-called Islamic State and Russia in a rare speech outside the country on Monday.

Speaking for the first time since the attempted murder of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury in March, Parker will describe how the incident was a "deliberate and targeted malign activity" that risks Russia becoming a "more isolated pariah" in the international community, according to excerpts from the speech, to be delivered in Berlin, Censor.NET reports citing Bloomberg.

Parker will accuse Russian President Vladimir Putin’s government of being "in flagrant breach of international rules" and say it’s guilty of pursuing "aggressive and pernicious actions by its military and intelligence services."

He’ll also condemn what he calls the unprecedented level of Russia’s disinformation following the attack, with the need "to shine a light through the fog of lies, half-truths and obfuscation that pours out of their propaganda machine."

The head of the U.K.’s domestic intelligence agency will also emphasize the inter-dependence of Europe’s security community in the face of multiple threats, and praise the multinational Counter-Terrorism Group, which is comprised up of 30 European agencies all sharing information in real time.

As reported, Russian ex-spy Sergei Skripal, 66, and daughter Yulia Skripal, 33, remain critically ill in hospital, after they were found unconscious on a bench in the Wiltshire city on March 4. The UK government says they were poisoned with a nerve agent of a type developed by Russia called Novichok and PM Theresa May said she believed Moscow was "culpable."

UK expelled 23 Russian diplomats as part of a "full and robust" response – prompting Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to say it will "certainly" expel British diplomats in response.

On March 16, Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the alliance had "no reason to doubt the findings and assessments by the British government" which suggested Russian responsibility. He said the "UK is not alone" and Nato allies gave "strong political support" to Britain, following a joint statement from the US, France and Germany backing Mrs May's government and a pledge of support from Australia.

British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson said that the U.K.'s government believes that it was likely Putin's decision to direct the use of a nerve agent on the streets of the U.K.

On March 26, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the expulsion of 60 Russians from the United States, including 12 people identified as Russian intelligence officers who have been stationed at the United Nations in New York.

Russia was told how Ukraine had begun a series of defeats of Putin

Russia was told how Ukraine had begun a series of defeats of Putin

Russian political scientist and publicist Andrew Piontkovsky believes that the failure of the idea of full seizure of the south and east of Ukraine began a series of defeats President Vladimir Putin.

He made such an opinion in an interview with the "Apostrophe".

"Novorossiya" (which envisioned the seizure of the south and east of Ukraine - "Apostrophe") failed in 2014, and this was the impetus for further defeats of Putin. He and Syria climbed to divert attention from the failure in Ukraine. There he tried to offer himself the West as a valuable partner in the fight against terrorism,"- said Piontkovsky.

In this context, he also pointed to increased criticism of Putin not only from the side of the opposition.

"At present Russian sites are witnessing Putin's rigorous criticism from the imperial camp - well-known for you Girkin, Borodai and others, and this criticism is no less dramatic than a democratic camp," the political scientist said.
