The IMF refused to fund Greece

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) can not continue funding Greece. This was stated by the representative of the IMF, reports Reuters.
According to him, this is due to the fact that Greece missed payments on previous loans.
"Managing Director (IMF Christine Lagarde) explained the inability to continue to provide assistance to Greece in the framework of the policy to avoid debt," - said the representative of the Fund.
Note, previously the IMF said that watching the situation in Greece after the referendum and are ready to assist the country if such a request will follow.
