Political scientist Alexei Chesnakov, close to the assistant to the president of the Russian Federation, Vladislav Surkov, admitted that in the territory of the occupied Donbas, political technologists work in agreement with the administration of Vladimir Putin.

U.S. President Donald Trump says he was very tough with President Vladimir Putin of Russia at July summit in Helsinki, Finland.

As reported by Censor.NET, Lesley Stahl, a correspondent for CBS News asked Trump during an interview why did he never have a harsh word for Vladimir Putin publicly.

"I think I'm very tough with him personally. I had a meeting with him. The two of us. It was a very tough meeting and it was a very good meeting," the U.S. president said.

Besides, President Trump says he provides much more assistance to Ukraine army than his predecessor Barack Obama has ever done.

Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating possible links between Trump campaign associates and Russia as part of his probe into Moscow's attempts to interfere in the 2016 election.

The Kremlin was so impatient waiting for someone to storm the Ukrainian churhes during a grateful prayer in Kyiv on Oct. 14, that it even placed its "titushky", which were supposed to play this role.

President Petro Poroshenko said at a meeting with the Exarchs of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine - Bishop Hilarion of Edmonton and the Western Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in Canada and Archbishop Daniel of Pamphylia and the Western Eparchy of the UOC in the United States of America, Censor.NET reports citing the presidential press office.

"I am sure that we must search for peace and exactly the way October 14th passed - the Day of the Defender of Ukraine, the Day of Pokrova, when the Ukrainian political forces and the entire Ukrainian people, on the contrary, united and did not fall for Moscow’s provocation. On Sept. 2, hierarchs held meetings (Synaxis) of the Hierarchy of the Ecumenical Throne Constantinople (Istanbul, Turkey) to confirm that the Church of Constantinople is authorized, without the consent of other churches, to grant autonomy, or autocephaly, to a church that has requested it. This paves the way for autocephality of Ukraine's church. Further measures, such as the adoption of documents at the Synod, are expected to be taken in October.

Subsequently, on Sept. 7, Ecumenical Patriarchate has appointed two Exarchs in Kyiv as part of preparations for granting autocephaly to Ukraine's Orthodox church. "Within the framework of the preparations for the granting of autocephaly to the Orthodox Church in Ukraine, the Ecumenical Patriarchate has appointed as its Exarchs in Kyiv His Excellency Archbishop Daniel of Pamphilon from the United States, and His Grace Bishop Hilarion of Edmonton from Canada, both of whom are serving the Ukrainian Orthodox faithful in their respective countries under the Ecumenical Patriarchate," the Ecumenical Patriarchate said in an announcement.

On Sept. 25, the UOC-MP declared that it was demanding that the Patriarchate of Constantinople withdraw its exarchs from Ukraine. In particular, the Holy Synod of the UOC-MP at a meeting held in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra September 25, expressed its attitude regarding the appointment of the Exarchs of the Constantinople Patriarchate to Kyiv.

On Oct.11, 2018, Ecumenical Patriarchate has decided to proceed to the granting of autocephaly to the Church of Ukraine. In addition, the legal binding of Synod’s Letter of 1686 was abolished, thus pulling the Kyiv Metropolis from under Moscow jurisdiction. The Ecumenical Patriarchate also reinstated head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Philarchate Filaret and head of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church Makariy in their canonical status.

Kremlin-sponsored media outlet alleges the reason for the recent failure on the Russian Soyuz spacecraft may be "sabotage".

"The Soyuz rocket, which flight was aborted minutes after it took off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, was equipped with a Ukrainian-made control system, the media found out. Sources also report that sabotage is not ruled out," Russian NTV channel tweeted on Monday, Censor.NET reports.

Munich Police Starts Investigative Action Against British Journalist Graham Phillips for vandalism at Bandera's Tomb
This is reported  by the Consulate General of Ukraine in Munich.

Diplomats turned to the Munich police with information about the incident and a request to respond. As a result, the Munich Police Department opened the case and began investigating actions against a British citizen Graham Phillips, known for lying propaganda "reports" about the war in the Donbas.

The General Consulate declares to have a special control over this matter and is in contact with the law enforcement agencies of Munich.

Yulia Tymoshenko urged Verkhovna Rada to immediately vote for three moratorium, which at the legislative level prohibit heat tariff increase, shadow privatization of 49% of the GTS and sale of agricultural land.

In addition, Yulia Tymoshenko reminded that the moratorium on the sale of agricultural land ends. In view of this, "Batkivshchyna" demands to immediately put to vote the bills №5223 and number 5476 on the extension of the moratorium on land sales and the prohibition of targeted alienation.

"At the meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, held in Minsk on October 15, 2018, the Statement of the Holy Synod was adopted in connection with the encroachment of the Constantinople Patriarchate on the canonical territory of the Russian Orthodox Church," says a statement on the website of the Russian Orthodox Church, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

By breaking off eucharistic communion with the Patriarchate of Constantinople, the Russian Orthodox Church has placed itself on the path of self-isolation and conflict with the entire Orthodox world.

"With the obvious order of the Kremlin, the leadership of the aggressor country, the Russian church authorities fully dependent on it declared a breakup of Christian communion with the Mother Church of Constantinople. I am convinced that such a reaction from the spiritual and secular Russian authorities and the church leadership, fully dependent on the Russian authorities, confirms that we are on the right track. Just as Russia opposed itself to the whole world in matters of Russian aggression in the east of our state, the illegal annexation of Crimea, its position on Abkhazia, on Ossetia, on Transdniestria, now, unfortunately, the Russian Church has also put itself on the path of self-isolation and conflict with the whole world Orthodoxy," the president said.

Constantinople makes benchmark decision to grant autocephaly to Ukraine's Church

Moldovan President Igor Dodon said that Moldova was and will remain a canonical territory of the Moscow Patriarchate.

About this, commenting on the situation, he told TASS, informs Censor.NET.

"I propose to hold the All-Orthodox Cathedral in the territory of Moldova. The situation that has developed in the Orthodox world, causes me, the Orthodox person, a deep regret and anxiety," Dodon said.

He assured that "Moldova was and will remain a canonical territory of the Moscow Patriarchate."

"The Moldavian Metropolitanate was established in 1813 by the efforts of our great saint Gabriel Benulescu-Bodoni within the framework of the Russian Orthodox Church, and we will remain loyal to our only church," Dodon emphasized.

On September 14, an official statement was passed to the extraordinary Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church in Moscow , in which it was said that if the "anticanonical activity of the Constantinople Patriarchate in the territory of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church" ROC "continues, it will be forced" to break the eucharistic communication.

At the same time, the Synod of the ROC decided to suspend co-ordination with the hierarchs of the Patriarchate of Constantinople and to stop its participation in the structures where its representatives presided. And do not mention more of the Patriarch of Constantinople during the liturgy.
