World oil prices jumped by 4%

In electronic trading on the London and New York stock exchanges, world oil prices have risen sharply, evidenced by trading data.
May futures for light WTI oil on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose by 4.57% to $ 37.53 per barrel.
On London's ICE Futures Exchange, oil futures for Brent crude delivery rose 3.75% in June to $ 39.29 per barrel.
For a week, from 25 March to 1 April, US crude stocks fell by 4.93 million barrels to 529.9 million.
