Nissan will withdraw 3.5 million vehicles because of problems with airbags

Post by Admin on Fri Apr 29, 2016 11:07 pm

Japanese automaker Nissan announced the recall of 3.53 million vehicles worldwide due to the possibility of failure of the airbag. On Friday, April 29, according to Reuters.

The security system can not work because of the malfunction of automotive sensors, the company noted.

Under review were issued in the years 2013-2016 cars Altima models, Leaf, Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, Senter, Rogue, NV200, NV Taxi, as well as the Infiniti JX35 / QX60 and Q50. Most of the cars were sold in the United States.

In January, it was reported in the US withdraw from the market of five million vehicles with the production of defective safety cushions Japanese company Takata. Moreover, among the recalled vehicles were cars Audi and Volkswagen.

The reason for this decision was the death of a person in an accident due to improper operation of the airbag system.
