Kim Jong-ing said the DPRK missile could strike at the United States

North Korean leader Kim Jong-il said the country had successfully tested a ballistic missile. According to him, the test showed that the DPRK has the ability to strike on the mainland of the United States.

"Our leader noted that the mainland of the United States is now within our reach," the North Korean agency CTAAC reports.
Earlier, Minister of Defense North Korea threatened a nuclear attack on the United States, reports Express.
"If enemies misunderstand our strategic status and will adhere to the option of attacking us, we will strike a nuclear strike at the very heart of America as the most unfaithful punishment without warning," the minister said.
Recall that North Korea once again tested a new rocket that fell in the territorial waters of Japan. Then it was not known whether the missile was ballistic.
