The dollar strengthened against the euro on fears of a Greek exit from the eurozone

The dollar against the euro on growing investor fears of a Greek exit from the eurozone. This was according to the auction.
As of 08.15, the euro fell against the dollar by 1.40% to $ 1.1012 per euro. Dollar against the yen dropped to 122.66 yen from 123.87 yen per dollar. The dollar index was down 0.04% to 96.14 points.
Earlier it was reported that US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew during a conversation with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras urged him to take all measures to maintain financial stability in the country.
