Syrian opposition has discarded "Islamic state" from Rakka
The Syrian Democratic forces repulsed the city of Rakka from the "Islamic State" terrorists, which for a long time was considered their unofficial capital
Reuters reports.
On October 17, opposition groups called "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDS) took the stadium in Raza, where the last center of resistance of the terrorists remained.
After suppressing the resistance of the terrorist unit, the SDS fighters lifted their flag.
The information about the city's final release from the "ID" agency was confirmed by the 37-year-old commander of the SDS squads Roida Felat.
-The storming of the city lasted about 4 months.
-SDS consist of Arabs and Kurds and are supported by the United States.
-In the spring, ID fighters moved their "capital" to the city of Deir ez-Zor.
