Syria reported rocket fire from Israel

The missiles managed to intercept, but the result of the strike were "material damage"

Syria's air defense forces have intercepted at least two Israeli missiles released near Damascus.

This is reported by France24 with reference to the Syrian media.

"About half past the first night (Friday 22:30), an Israeli enemy launched several ground-to-surface missiles in the direction of a military facility near Damascus," SANA reported.

The missiles managed to intercept, but as a result of the strike, "material damage" was caused, but what exactly is not specified.

-Rami Abdel Rahman, head of the Syrian human rights organization, said a missile strike was inflicted on weapons a few kilometers south of Damascus.

-However, he could not accurately answer whether the Syrian Army or Iran's allies or the Lebanese Hezbollah were part of it.
