The US imposed "smart" sanctions against Putin's favorite child

The United States government imposed a ban on the supply of technological equipment for the South Kirinskoye gas field in the Sea of ввOkhotsk, which is engaged in the development of "Gazprom".
According to the US government bulletin, the specified object was included in the list of companies and entities (Entity List), in respect of which a special tough regime of export controls.
It is noted that for the first time this list was made an object that is not a legal or natural person. A lawyer from the Washington Jacobson Burton PLC Doug Jacobson believes that this new approach to "smart" sanctions against Russia.
Thus, the regulator will come from the "presumption of denial" when considering applications for licenses for exports to South Kirinskoye. It turns out that in the field would be virtually impossible to deliver any product or software of US origin that is subject to US export controls.
