In the US, 7 people died as a result of the storm

At least 7 people were killed as a result of a storm that attacked the eastern coast of the United States.

This was reported by  ABC News.

Among the dead - two children six and eleven years old. Most accidents are associated with falling trees. More than 2.2 million people were left without electricity.

Over 3,000 flights have been canceled, including from New York, Philadelphia and Boston airports. Still the same detained. Partly stopped by rail.

The gust of winds in places reaches 150 km per hour. Also in the coastal areas there is snow and ice.

The greatest danger to the inhabitants is the threat of flooding - many streets per meter are flooded with icy water.

Recall that two strong people died as a result of a severe storm in the south of the state of Kentucky.
