Putin urges joint US-Russia fight against Isis

Vladimir Putin has renewed his call to the US and other western states for a joint campaign against Islamist terrorism in Syria, suggesting it could become a testing ground for a new model of global co-operation in tackling problems.
Even as he held out the prospect of closer co-ordination with the US, however, Mr Putin made his customary acerbic criticism of US policies in the Middle East and elsewhere.
He accused Washington of playing a “double game” over terrorism in the Middle East by deliberately using some terrorist groups as a “battering ram to overthrow regimes they don’t like”......................

For starters, the Kremlin poked its own nose into something they didn't have any connection to. It's like playing football in your own field and some other group just comes in um-announced. Are they really going to ask you to join in, when you were already in that field?
IMO, it seems the Kremlin didn't expect to be what they ran into. Now it seems they need help and are asking the US to talk. I wouldn't give them the time of day. They jumped in without being asked to join in. Is it the Kremlin's plan to have the US join in, then if some massive amount of innocent civilians get slaughtered by the Kremlin then blame it on the US/west? They have a reputation for blaming others for things they've done.
