Yefremov’s electronic bracelet was removed on Nov. 3 and a harsher surveillance or detention measure can be applied should he miss a future court date, the report said. Yefremov is charged with inciting ethnic animosity but is suspected of various crimes under the Yanukovych administration and financing the Russian-backed terrorists, for which he has not been charged. He served as head of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction under Yanukovych.

Concorde analyst Zenon Zawada added: “Yefremov is among the few top officials of the Yanukovych administration to have been arrested. Yet his charges are petty compared to his suspected crimes and he hasn’t even faced trial yet. His release from detention comes as the Poroshenko administration faces criticism for targeting the Kolomoisky entourage for arrest while the Yanukovych entourage remains free. The Kremlin believes that any theories about what caused a Russian plane to crash in the Sinai Peninsula killing 224 people are speculation and that only the official investigation can determine what happened, Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday, according to Reuters.

Peskov was reacting to an assertion from British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond who said that there was a significant possibility that Islamic State's Egyptian affiliate had orchestrated a bomb attack on the Russian airliner.

"We have said this before and we will repeat it again: theories about what happened and the causes of the incident can only be pronounced by the investigation," said Peskov, when asked about Hammond's comments, the report says.

"So far, we have heard nothing like this from the investigation. Any kind of similar assumptions like this are based on information that has not been checked or are speculation.".....................
