The US has upgraded its largest non-nuclear bomb

The US Air Force has upgraded its powerful non-nuclear bomber GBU-57
It is reported by Bloomberg with reference to the Air Force representative of the country.
The new, fourth, modification of the bomb GBU-57 can be used in underground military factories in North Korea.
The modernization was carried out in order to improve the characteristics of the bomb when used for heavy targets and purposes that are at a great depth.
"An air bomb weighing more than 13 tons and a charge of almost 2.5 tons of explosives can penetrate the ground to a depth of 61 meters and can only be carried by a bomber, B-2," the statement said.
As it is noted, B-2 bombers were stationed on Guam in the Pacific Ocean in January 2018, however, whether they were sent to this region and the GBU-57 representative of the US Air Force refused to refine.
As you know, the new nuclear strategy of the United States calls for an increase in nuclear weapons, including low-power nuclear weapons.
The document proposes to upgrade the nuclear triad, which includes strategic aviation, intercontinental ballistic missiles and nuclear submarine rocket launches.
It also announced plans for the modernization of some low-power submarine missiles and the return of a "nuclear missile missile".
