Twitter first announced the possibility of breaking the public service by hackers, according to Financial Times.
It is noted that the company sent warning letters to users.
The letter says that the attackers may try to get phone numbers, email addresses and IP-addresses of the computers.
The publication said that such warnings have already made to Google and Facebook.
