Russian lawmakers proposes creating a Hitlerjugend type organization

Vitali Milonov, a Petersburg lawmaker, has come up with the idea to create a youth organization in Russia mandatory for all children, Ukrayinska Pravda quotes Russia’s Izvestia as saying Aug. 28.

The organization’s aim is to counter western propaganda.

“Our youth is vulnerable to the influences of destructive western propaganda,” the lawmaker says.

The organization should be financed by the state, the lawmaker stresses.
