State Department threatened to "tools for the isolation of Russia" because Syria

The US is ready to take action "to further isolate Russia" in Moscow's continued support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. It is reported by "RIA Novosti" citing State Department spokesman John Kirby.
"We have a variety of tools for this" - said Kirby.
He added that at the moment can not "speculate about the future of sanctions." But while State Department spokesman stressed that Russia is waiting for insulation, with which the country is facing due to the events in Ukraine.
Earlier, a spokesman for the White House Josh Ernest said that if Russia will not harmonize their policies in Syria with the countries of the coalition against the IG, it may meet with even greater isolation. It was explained that the Russian authorities continue to supply weapons to Syria to fight terrorists.
