Russian jets use concrete-penetrating bombs in Syria

The Russians dropped 2 powerful BETAB-500 bombs in Syria, Russian air force spokesman said, European Pravda reports Nov. 3.
Such bombs weigh 500 kg each, he said.
The bombs are used to destroy very deep bunkers, the official said.
